That's one very original portrait, I love the idea, but I must say... I think there's too much head room (i.e. too much space above the head).

I love this portrait as well. But I will respectfully disagree with Vincent.
If we assume the focal point of the photo is the model's eyes, and we follow the Rule of Thirds, then one could say that there is a little too much space below, i.e. her eyes would be along the bottom third line. Again it's more of a guideline than a rule and not something that must be adhered to. I'm a good example of a rule breaker. : )
